So some things have gone wrong today and others good. So bad news first, Feb 18, when I am in Vancouver... Matt Good's CD will not be.. basically the release date has been pushed back to March (good news here.. maybe i will be going to Van near my birthday to see a Matt Good show, or maybe he will be where I am :D.
The other good news (double meaning... positive and Matt Good) is that there is now a forum / message board for matt good :D the address is http://www.nationofcool.com and I have a link on the front page and on Dave's page (cause he told me about it).
So news on MG will be more readily available and that, ladies and gentlemen, is a good thing.

Wow Thursday already, the weekend is almost here : ) I have been playing guitar so much lately I've almost forgot to keep up with my readings for class, ALMOST.
Want to hear a story?
So I'm looking at my horoscope the other day and it says..
"Communication with others, particularly
about possible new business interests, should bring a lot of
positive information your way that you're apt to put to work for you.

particularly gratifying. Your hard work has not only enriched your
socioeconomic standing, but your friendships as well. Enjoy your
day."
That day my dad told me I have to apply at a few different companies because the company he works for won't be operating when I'm off school (+ve info i have to put to work). I don't know about the respect thing... But my credit card limit was just increased (YAY!) and I got a 9 (out of 9 ) on my Political Science Midterm exam :D
So now.. I'm going to look at today's horoscope... and see if it is so smart.
Hmmm not so smart today. Jargon about me learning how to do banking online (psshaw, I know that stuff) and that my mind is especially sharp today. Hmmm... it is? Well I think I have sorta proven that horoscopes only work if you try to attach meaning to them, so you forget all the times they are wrong in predicting the day, and only remember the times they are right. In any case, I'm going to add a horoscope link to the front page lol. Have a great day

Yep, it's the new year, soon time to renew my credit card and pay my car insurance again. School is back in, I'm taking some whacky courses about Dinosaurs... somehow I don't think it will contribute to my degree as a whole, but i will be able to babysit for people and not have the kids trick me about Dinosaur trivia.. one up on little kids, I've got priorities in the right place (hahaha).
Played pool yesterday and saw some comedy :) , hence the quote of the day "A smorg of hilarity". only two last things to say 1.) Where do you find a carrot that BIG? 2.) I better finish my reading, don't want to get behind =) Have a great day :) (33 days till Vancouver and holiday) |

I watched Braveheart last night for the first time (yeah i know it came out 8 years ago). It is an amazing movie. So if you haven't seen it (umm i was probably the only person who hasn't) but IF you haven't, go see it!! What a great storyline. =D Have a great day :) |

I've finally recovered from final exams. I know someone who got their picks today :D. Umm.. let's see.. gonna go to a movie with my sis. Then for dinner. Be in the pond later perhaps, gotta improve my guitar skillz tonight... maybe i will just be practicing. Talk to y'all later :) |

I am almost finished writing my final exams. Only 1 left, Cognitive Science. It has a Star Trek essay on it. This may be the easiest final I've written since grade 1 or 2. Even easier than tying my shoes. Relate this Star Trek esisode to the Turing Test. Wow so easy :)

I bought my guitar today :):):) I'm pretty excited! It's a Canadian made simon&patrick guitar and it sounds very very nice. I couldn't afford a Taylor. Maybe when I get another job that will happen. For now though I am satisfied with this one. =D Now i just need to remember how to play... |
