| Dunbar Colts Share Stage With Barcelona
Dunbar United Colts U12's (1995 age group) will be representing East Lothian as part of the pre-match entertainment at the upcoming glamour challenge match between FC Barcelona and Hearts at Murrayfield on 28 July. The team will participate in a 5-a-side match against a team from Fife in front of a crowd that Hearts estimate could be as high as 50,000. Coach Dave Souness commented "This is a fantastic opportunity for the lucky boys who get to play and get the experience to play football in front of such a large crowd in a fantastic venue." With luck, the boys might get to meet some of the players from Barcelona (Ronaldinho or Thierry Henry perhaps) so its bound to be a day to remember. Hopefully, we will have some pictures to show on the website after the game has taken place. |
