D'HARHAN   The Bounty Hunter D'harhan is a member of a near-human species which implants various mechanical systems into their bodies, often replacing major limbs and organs with cybernetic weapons. The species coordinates their actions via an internal communications package. D'harhan body is covered by heavy, black armor which protectes the power and support systems. A huge laser cannon, which serves as D'harhan's head and can rotate a full 180 degrees, is mounted to the body. The cannon has an enormous bore, and is studded with sophisticated optical systems that allows D'harhan to "see" its surroundings as well as target its prey. The subsystems of the huge cannon are draped down his back, along D'harhan's spine. D'harhan also has a black segmented, armored "tail" which extendes from his lower back and hips to compensate for the immense weight of all these subsystems. Heavy, black gloves protectes D'harhan�s hands while thick-soled boots support his feet. When alert and aggressive, D'harhan's tail stiffens and braces him into a tripod position that can stand the kickback from the huge cannon. D'harhan uses an archaic keyboard attached to his central processors to type out words. The words are interpreted and "spoken" by a vocabulator module, which was D'harhan's way of communicating. This eerie mechanical voice is accompanied by the constant hissing of the steam from the laser cannon's housing which many have found to be 'very disturbing'. Boba Fett is the closest thing D'harhan has to a friend. Fett was present at D'harhans's creation and they have teamed-up on a number of occasions. D'harhan worked with Boba Fett, IG-88, Bossk, and Zuckuss to go after the large acquisition, Oph Nar Dinnid, who was being held by the Shell Hutt Gheeta. When the group arrived at the planet Circumtore, they had to hand-in their weapons including the power cell of D'Harhan's laser canon, in order to land on the planet. This nearly killed D'harhan, for his weapons systems were his primary essence. But Fett maintained his life support with minimal power until his skills were needed. But the vengeful Hutt had set a trap for the team, using Oph Nar Dinnid as bait. When the group meet with the Shell Hutts inside their fortress, trying to make a deal for Oph Nar Dinnid, they were surrounded by mercenaries. Gheeta, who hated Fett deeply since Fett was responsible for his loss of respect in the Hutt society, had hired mercenaries to kill the group. But Fett, thinking in advance, had hidden an extra power cell at the meeting place. Fett placed the extra power cell in D´Harhan, reactivating his huge laser canon. D'harhan managed to eliminate a huge number of the mercenaries, but the remaining combined their firepower at D´Harhan who was the only one shooting back. Their combined firepower eventually caused D'harhan to fall back. He was hit badly so Fett took over the control of the laser gun, killing all the remaining mercenaries and Gheeta the Hutt. Oph Nar Dinnid was also killed in the process. D'harhan was believed to have died from his severe injures. It is also believed that D'harhan is the last of his kind.   NOTE: A being calling himself D'harhan has recently turned up in the Outer Rim Planets.
