BL-17   Bl-17 is a humanoid droid, shaped similarly to a 3P0 unit. He (masculine programming) was owned by Boba Fett during the early years of the New Order. Bl-17 was painted similar colors to Boba Fett's Mandalorian Armor, which made the droid look very much like Fett. The droid often assisted Boba Fett in his many hunts for new Bounties. BL-17 does not carry a massive array of weaponry; just a rectangular shaped blaster pistol. But being a droid, he can fire the blaster with frightening accuracy and serve as the perfect, and deadly, backup for Boba Fett. BL-17 once befriended C-3PO and turned him against R2-D2 while Fromm's gang put a bomb in Joben's racing ship, the White Witch. Fett chased Thall and Kea, but they escaped, joining in the speeder race. At the same time, C-3PO learned of the treachery of BL-17 (who was then crushed by falling machines) and discovered the bomb planted in the Witch. Angry at the damage done to his droid, Fett took Fromm and his gang hostage, to turn them over to Jabba the Hutt, where he received a great reward for them. BL-17 's whereabouts are currently unknown. It is unknown if the droid is still in Boba Fett's possession or if the droid was destroyed. It is believed that Bl-17 must know some secrets about Boba Fett, and that the missing droid is the 'key' to Fett.   No one has seen BL-17 since his disappearance, except for maybe Bossk, who saw a droid in a secured room while about Slave I, that could have been BL-17.
