OK, I admit feeling overwhelmed with a hint of helpless thrown in. I mean, I can easily get "stuck" in the idea that this is a BIG world and I'm only 1 person! However, I've decided that each step is something and I've realized that, like walking, each step leads to another and another...
If we don't start, we never reach our destination. I've decided to try do better with recycling. I've decided to notify my community leaders to find out what steps they are taking to plan for our future and how to make my town more energy efficient. I've decided to share with them the information that I've located to ask whether any of those ideas can be implemented locally or whether they can be attempted in a smaller scale than what is being done in much larger cities. I've decided to encourage the use of "green" options as being good for the planet and ways to help our economy.
