Chapter Four
  I
think I've found My Match
The next day, Amanda awoke to the sun shining down on her. She smiled, and touched the picture of Greg next to her. It was for the best Greg. I mean we barely had time to see each other, so it on't be any different. Greg. Amanda said in her mind to the picture before throwing it in her closet, and pulling out her new clothes.
After an hour of preping, Amanda ran out the door, and called Collin. "Hello?" a familar voice asked uncertainly. "Hey Collin!" Amanda brightly said. "Boy you seem cheerful, today," laughed Collin. "Trust me I'm so fine!" replied Amanda. "Well yesterday you seemed hor-" "Don't remind me Collin. Listen you wanna chill today?" Amanda asked. "Sure, be over in a minute!" "K, I'll be counting. Check ya later!" She hung up and smiled. Today is going to be awesome!
"Yo Greg, what up?" asked Chris as he watched his friend sit on his bed quietly. No answer. "Greg?" asked Chris uncertainly. Chris who was quite confused what was up with his friend, didn't know what to do. Greg had been quiet, he only sang when needed, or talked when ever and he wasn't as enerjectic as he usually was.
"Yeah, what? Oh nothin much," Greg replied sighing again. "Yo man what the heck is wrong?" Chris finally let out. Greg looked at Chris, then spat out the whole thing. "She broke up with you man?" asked Chris astounded what had happened. "Man, I'm sorry. Listen we could chill at the mall. It'll be cool," suggested Chris getting his cell phone out. "Whatever, sighed Greg depressed.
"Collin, you stupid," Amanda laughed. Collin and Amanda were at the mall, chillin. "Well it's true, Amanda, you just never had time to talk to me, you were always there, or there, I never got to tell you how much I like you." Amanda smiled at Collin and took his hands. "Thanks Collin," Amanda said hugging him. "For what?" "For being someone I could turn to."
"Oh look at that babe," gawked Jesse as he backed up as a group of girls walked past him. "Oh god, here we-hey woah, look at that one," Chris said starting to walk with Jesse. Greg sighed.  He didn't want to look at hott girls, he wanted Amanda again. "Opps sorry!" a girl bumped right into him. "It's fine, really, I should have been looking where I was going," Greg said forcing himself to smile. "Hey aren't you are Greg Raposo right?" the girl asked excitiedly. "Yeah, I guess you could say that," Greg replied forcing himself to laugh.
"I'm Amber Luna Call," the girl introduced herself holding out her hand. Her name reminded him of Amanda. "Hi Amber," Greg said shaking her hand. "Come on Greg, let's go," Frankie called to him. "Here, call me. I know you've had hundreds of girl's numbers, but here," Amber said handing a note to Greg before waving goodbye. "Hey man she's a cutie," Frankie said, as she watched Amber walk away. "Yeah whatever," Greg replied puting the paper in his pocket.
They walked around, for awhile. Greg watched as his friends, flirted with some girls. He looked around the store. They were in Anchor Blue. "And I broke up with him, Cally," a familar voice was heard a little away from Greg. "Amanda, get over him, I mean he barely spent any time with you, you even said it your self. Go for Collin, I mean he likes you. And I mean he does have time for you. Unlike that Greg from what's that band again? Dream Street?" another voice was heard.
By this time, Greg had spun around to see Amanda looking through a rack of jeans, with the girl he had seen at Carl's Jr. the night they broke up. "I don't know, I mean even though this morning I threw Greg's picture in my closet, and called Collin, I still feel really guilty, Cally," Amanda said frowning, at a picture of Dream Street on a shirt.
Greg frowned, that he now knew that her friend had supported her on dumping him. Hearing this made it hurt inside. "Amanda, get over him!! He never spent time with you, you barely saw him because he was doing this or that, Collin can give you that. Collin, actually has time to spend with you!" "Yeah, you're right Cally, I mean Greg was too busy, and Collin does like me. I guess I can give Collin a chance, of whatever," decided Amanda.
His heart broke, and his hopes faded. Amanda already had another guy in mind, and it wasn't him. Though she felt guilty, she wouldn't allow Greg back into her arms. "Excuse me," a voice brought Greg back to reality. "Oh sorry," Greg apoligized, moving out of the way. "Hey, I've seen you before," Greg reconized the voice from earlier. "Hey Amber," he said pasting a smile on his face. At that moment Amanda and Cally turned to see Greg and the girl.
"Hey Greg, I keep  running into you," Amber teased laughingly. "I guess he already found someone to replace me," Amanda said to Cally, loud enough for Greg to hear, as they cut inbetween the two. Greg hit his forhead, now Amanda would  even madder. But wait why should she care, we're over.
