An intense player. Incredible pace and ball winning ability. While
a normal wing back at most makes a tackle or two to defend his flank,
Chris tackles his ball-carrying opponent all the way down the line.
Good positional sense also helps to provide cover for the team, especially
when the opponents are threatening the goal.
Can also play an excellent role as GK who is not afraid of taking
responsibility at the goal line. Possesses blinding reflexes and is
also admirably brave.
I am always damn happy when Chris plays because he has a super high
work rate and helps so much in winning possession. It will be scary
to think what he will be like if he was much more fitter and be able
to pass super well.

An essential member of the squad. A modern full back of the game.
Reads the game at a glance and is always on the guy at the break.
He is also always looking to intercept the through-pass and is excellent
at defending corners. Though not exceptionally tall, many will be
surprised to know that he hides a stinging heading. One of the aerial
threats of the team at set pieces. His calm disposition and positional
sense keeps strikers at a loss. Never makes mistakes. Only kind of
goals I seen conceded against his defense are mostly free kicks or
mad scrambles at goal mouth.
Colin is the pillar in our defense. Though I would be much happier
if he was also super fast, his positional sense and very strong play
also guarantees that the opponent cannot score without coming up with
something extremely special. Would be unbeatable if his clearances
are hit sweetly everytime, anytime. |

Tim is a no-nonsense defender, who always goes for the ball first.
Adhering firmly to the principle of "Safety First", he thinks
nothing of booting the ball upfield or simply kicking it out of play.
His experience more than makes up for his lack of speed, often making
crucial interceptions with powerful headers and crunching slide tackles.
Always a reliable choice at leftback. In addition, Tim is an accomplished
goalkeeper. Not one to indulge in flashy diving saves, he prefers
to just "do the job and stop the shot". Fearless and fast
to the ground in one-on-one situations, he has left many strikers
nursing a bruised ego instead of celebrating a goal. Unbeknownst to
many, he is also a masterful pianist with immense talent for improvisation.
This he keeps well concealed and to this day, has offered me only
the slightest glimpse. One surely cannot tell from his willingness
to sacrifice those gifted fingers to parry shots away. |
