1827 in Whitley Co., KY. He was born Abt. 1805, and died Abt. 1843.

Lettis Manon is listed as member #13 in Book 1 of Jellico Creek Church Records and two additional references
made to Lettuce Manning in the June 15, 1858 and Feb.. 3rd Sat. 1859 records.

A Kentucky Land Grant was surveyed in 1822 in the name of William Manning and recorded in the name of
Meredith Manning in May 1823. Meredith probably died before 1850. He does not appear in the Whitley County
census for 1850. It is not known where he is buried.
