| Isham Anderson was born February 13,1837 in Tn. and died December 25,1899. He married Rosa Lee Parks,daughter of Uriah Parks and Helen Thomas. Rosa was born November 23,1853, and died October 03,1904. Isham Anderson states on his marriage license in Whitley Co. Ky. that his father Jacob Anderson was born in Lee Co. Va. and his mother was also born in Lee Co. Va. Barthna states on the census records that she was born in Kentucky. More about Isham Anderson The following record was taken from the clerk's journal of the First United Baptist Church of Christ at Little Rock ,Whitley Co. Ky.( formed Nov. 1887) "Oct. the 25th 1890-fourth Saturday- We the United Baptist Church of Christ at Little Rock met and business proceeded. 1. Union called for and found 2.The minutes of the last meeting read and received 3.The clerk being absent the church chose Isham Anderson clerk for the present day. The following reocrds were taken from the same source. "A commity was appointed Brother Ross, Wm, Anderson,Sister Rosey Anderson and the mod." Note: This committee is in ref. to a charge brought against Martha Stephens for "talking falsly" against Wesley Perry.
