| OUR CODE OF HONOR APPLIES TO ALL MEMBERS OF DsF, NOT JUST WHEN ITS CONVENIENT. - You will be expected to learn our rules and know them. Actions made out of ignorance will no longer be honored or tollerated; such as being promoted to a rank higher than you are supposed to have been. - If you do choose to join DsF then you are required to use the message boards to post your current status every now and then. You are also required to view various parts of the DsF website to keep upto date on changes on the clan status - primarily this page and the members page. Failure to know what is going on and the actions that are being taken cause confusion and the lack of cooperation amongst our members. So please keep yourself informed! - All members shall show respect to every other member of DsF EQUALLY - We Do Not Hack, nore do we use any modification that gives an advantage over the stock game. Certain mods are ultimately hacks (i.e. auto aim, lazer site, super aim, speed mods, armor mods, ammo mods, or any other modified files that gives the single user an advantage over the rest of the other players. - You will defend the honor and reputation of our clan - this does not mean getting into lobby spats and partaking in childish lobby fights. Grow up a little - are you REALLY going to shove your foot up some guys @$$ in a chat lobby??? I dont think so. Why jeapordize your zone account and get yourself banned because someone thinks they are hotshots by typing you to death. - Training will be given to anybody seeking it or is obviously having problems understanging the game. - We will not exclude "new" people from our games or from joining our team. Remember EVERYBODY was new at one time or another so lend a hand and help someone out if they are having problems. - You must be an active player. If you join and are all of a sudden not seen for more than 2 weeks you might possibly be removed from our ranks. If you have problems with your machine, are having 'personal' problems, or are just getting away from rogue spear for a while, there are several ways to get in touch with a member of DsF, and most of the time these forms of contact can be used from ANY computer that has online capability (worse comes to worse try going to your public library and using one of thier public computers). - If you find a disruptive person in our games (hosted by DsF), then the majority of our members should vote wether or not that person is to be ejected. We all have our tollerances and all have different levels of what is disruptive. - Disrespect WILL NOT BE TOLLERATED!!!!!! This includes mouthing off in chat lobbies, game lobbies, in the game itself or by using zone messages. As we have our STRUCTURE as does the zone. All members will adhear to thier rules as well. If you dont like it then go play on gamespy or some other form of game server. - Booting your own team from a game is NOT acceptable. We are here as a team and to be bro's, so booting another DsF member will result in loss of your status!! - No member of DsF shall "double clan" (being in one or more clan for Rogue Spear other than DsF) unless other zone games are played and other zone names are required. Example: I, DsF_MindDrive am also known as HnE_MindDriv_SK for i play mechwarrior 3 and take part in a league that requres me to be in my "HnE" uniform. If you are in this situation and play other games under different zone names then your other zone name WILL be known amongst the rest of our members. To wear another clans name is to have no honor and the Councel will take this to be one of the highest offences possible. - Contact info (email address) will be given by you and be made known by all members of DsF. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ OFFENCES THAT WILL RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION : - Hacking files on your computer to give yourself an advantage over other players. Subject to dismissal without notice. - Double clanning. Subject to imediate dismissal. - Disrespect towards any member of DsF. - Disobeying orders. - Deliberately causeing members to second guess orders given by superiors. - Being counter productive towards the clan. - Deliberately offending other people. - Causing chaos within the clan. - Using the fact that all of our members arent online all the time and using this towards you taking a promotion test. If you fail with one member, you fail with ALL members and are required to wait a set period of time. You may still game with members of DsF but if it is found that you broke our rules to take any test your acceptance will not be honored. Honesty does and will get you far in this clan. - Abusing ones rank in order to achieve personal status amongst the rest of the team. - Posting unacceptable material to others: while on the zone, in game rooms or while in the game itself. This includes: site addy's, zone messages, MP bound messages (offencive text). Some members do have personal limits to what they wont allow, so dont cross that line. - Continuous absenteism with out notice adn lack of communication ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ TERMS OF DISCIPLINE ARE VOTED ON AND MAY INCLUDE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING: - Loss of rank - Loss of team status - Suspension of ladder activities ( if applicable ) - "Lock" of current status, meaning no further advancements in rank for a set period of time - Dismissal from Delta shadow Force - *This applies to absenteism* Members that are not heard from in 2 weeks will then be placed on the inactive list for a period of 2 weeks. If no further communication is heard of, then that person will ultimately be removed from our ranks. If said person chooses to rejoin our team then a period of 30 day probation will be set and that member shall have to rebuild thier stanings from the ground up. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ HOW TO REINSTATE ONES PREVIOUS STATUS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM DsF: - Pending a councel meeting - Depending on the severity of the offence a default sentance of 30 days from the day of action or the time at which recontact was made (whichever applies first) - For more extreem offences Councel will decide the terms of reinstatement |
