Message from Author: Hi everyone. This is not an Aaron Carter story. I just put it in the 1st part because my friend dared me to. I hope you like this and I wrote it by myself! Aaron I dont think Im doing this right commented Kayla. Kayla was 14 and she was a dancer for Aaron Carter. She had been dancing almost all her life and she had been excepted to be able to go to concerts and on tours. Right now they were practicing for a concert in New York City, which was in 3 days. Youre right. After the break point in the music, youre supposed to turn left, not right said Aaron. She wasnt a fan or anything, but she did like some of his songs. She even went out with him a few times. Sorry, guess Im not thinking today apologized Kayla. Its ok. We all make mistakes. Including me replied Aaron smiling. The director said lets get it right this time ok? Take your places. Ill remember and do it right this time Kayla said. After 5 more hours of dancing, singing and re-plays, the director finally said that's good for today. Ill see you all here tomorrow at 9:00. Well, Im glad were done for today. My legs were getting sore commented Kayla walking out with the other dancers. All the other dancers were older than 15, so Kayla was the youngest. Mine were already hurting" agreed Diana, Kaylas friend. Diana was 16. They had been friends ever since they met on their 1st day of dancing with the group. Diana asked what time is it? Its... 7:45. No wonder Im hungry. Time sure flies fast said Kayla. Diana agreed ya. Hey, you want to go get some dinner? Unless you have another date with Aaron tonight. Very funny. I dont so sure. Lets go. Ok said Diana. Hey ya know what? I saw this commercial last night on the TV about this new band named Dream Street. Theyre pretty good. Do you mind if we stop and get their CD on the way home? Sure, if you want to said Kayla opening the door for Diana. Diana sat down and smiled teasingly at her friend so what are you and Aaron doing this weekend? Will you stop that! He is not my boyfriend! He only took me out to dinner 2 times because he was just being nice commented Kayla. Sure he is" Diana said teasingly. Soon after they ordered, their dinner came. They just chatted about things until Diana asked are you gonna buy Dream Streets CD to? No.... I mean I dont even know what they sound like. Ya do now. Listen to the music. Its 1 of their songs called It Happens Every Time. I think their good said Diana. But Kayla was to deep in thought to be listening. I think I should break up with him (no this isnt Aaron Carter). I mean...hes been acting so weird and different over the past 3 months... she thought. But she was soon brought back to reality when Diana asked so did you like them? Huh? Oh ya theyre ok said Kayla even though she didnt hear the song at all. Hey, lets order milkshakes since weve worked so hard this week suggested Kayla, not wanting Diana to get suspicious and ask more questions about the song. Good idea! Id love a milkshake agreed Diana. When the waiter returned, Kayla ordered a chocolate milkshake and Diana ordered vanilla. Yum... this is delicious said Diana drinking her milkshake. I agree replied Karla. After they finished their desert and paid, they were out the door and walking down the street to the CD music store. Hmm.. Its 8:34. Right on time informed Kayla. They walked into the huge store and went over to the CD section. Hmm.. Backstreet boys... nope. Maybe over here said Diana thoughtfully. When Kayla came back from looking around the store, Diana said she couldnt find it. Hang on. Ill ask said Kayla looking around. Excuse me, but do you have Dream Streets CD? My friend says she cant find it. Let me check on the computer. OK, follow me informed the boy. The boy who worked at the store just walked right over to the first isle and picked it up. Here he handed it to Diana. Thanks said Diana. They paid and went out the door and walked toward their way home. Well, they were actually staying at Dianas Aunts big house, but they just called it home because they felt so conferrable. When they finally got home (they walked) it was 9:14. After they changed and took a shower, it was almost 10:00. While Kayla quickly finished her homework, Diana picked up their room that they were staying at and listened to her CD in the old CD player. Kayla thought how does she like them? They sound awful! Lets go to bed so I wont be so tired tomorrow. After practice I have a date with Ethan informed Kayla. She asked Remember hes here cause his grandmother died? But I think Im gonna break up with him. I mean, hes been acting weird over the past 3 months," said Kayla getting into her bed. Maybe its been cause hes hanging with that group of boys that's always-causing trouble suggested Diana. Ya. He got 3 Fs, 3 Ds and 2 Cs on his report card. And Im not the kind of person who goes for that said Kayla. Right. Ya know, I think Dream Streets the best band so far. And I like... him the best said Diana studying the CD case. They both said goodnight and went to sleep. The Next Day That was a good breakfast you cooked Kayla said Diana. Thanks said Kayla getting ready to go back to the studio that they were using. Diana left the door to their bedroom open, and her Aunts cat Silver came in the door. Im going to put my new CD in its case. I dont want anything to happen to it said Diana. She took it out and held it looking for the case, but when Silver saw it shining (being the weird cat he is) he jumped up and hit it out of Dianas hands. She shouted on no! Silver scratched it until Kayla picked him up and put him out of the room. My brand new CD (it was Dream Street). That stupid cat! Guess youll have to but a new one said Kayla. But I cant! Im going to Stephanies apartment today whined Diana (shes another friend of Dianas). Well, lets go cause we dont want to be late said Kayla. Lets take the rent-a-car said Diana who was in a really bad mood. Um... ok but are you in the condition to drive? Yes. Very funny. Lets go or well be in bigger trouble said Diana, starting the car up. They made it 5 minutes early (thankfully) and walked in when they heard the director saying ok everyone. Lets do our best because our 3rd-to-last concert on the tour is in 2 days. And another group will be opening for us again so incase some people are a little late. A boy asked hey what group would be opening for us? Lets see... oh what was their name again? Oh ya Dream Street. Diana whispered to Kayla Dream Street is opening for us! Isnt that cool? I guess replied Kayla. The director said ok, lets try Aaron Oh Aaron for a warm up. Speaking of that where is Aaron? Right here sir. Sorry about that apologized Aaron. Thats ok as long as your here said the director. Take your places! Aaron smiled and asked Kayla do you have this 1 down? Or are you still having trouble with it? Very funny. FYI I got it right yesterday said Kayla rolling her eyes. Ok you 2. Stop chatting and lets get to work said the director. They practiced up to 12:47, then they took a lunch break until 1:35. Then they had a 10-minute break every hour. Surprisingly, the director let them go home at 6:00, but nobody complained. Well, Ill see ya tomorrow said Diana to Kayla with Stephanie right beside her. Kayla called back to her Ok, bye and have a good time! You to! Good luck! Thats what I need thought Kayla, walking back to the house to get ready. At 7:12 she left to go meet her date at the restaurant they had agreed on. When she met him there she knew right away that it would be the best idea to break up with Ethan. Hi she said casually. I wont tell him yet. Ill wait till after dinner she thought. Nice to see ya said Ethan. After they were finally done with dinner, Kayla said she wanted to go to the music store real quick to look for a CD before it closed. Whatever said Ethan. He really gets on my nerves she thought. Ill meet you at the CD section in 10 minutes she said when they were in the store. Sure he said walking away. Kayla looked down the first isle Lets see... nope. Ah here it is! Lets see heres Dream Street CD. This should make Diana feel better she thought. But if Kayla were paying attention she would have noticed someone else reaching for that same CD. Opps sorry she said when she hit the other persons hand. Kayla looked up to see who it was and she met a young boy about her size with green eyes. Its ok said the boy. She asked realizing that the Cd that she took was the last one Oh... did you want this? The boy said Well I was gonna get it for a friend but you can have it. Its no big deal. Do you like Dream Street? No not really. They sound awful to me replied Kayla. If she had looked at the case she would have seen that the boy she was talking to was 1 of the boys from Dream Street! The boy looked hurt oh. Are you buying it for somebody else? Yes. Its for my friend said Kayla. Surprising herself, she told this boy all about what happened to the other CD. So I thought I should get her another one said Kayla. The boy laughed well, thats kind of you. But I must admit that was pretty funny. Suddenly, the next thing Karla knew was the boy was sitting on the floor like he had been pushed or something. She also noticed he was staring at someone beside her. She turned to look to see who it was and it was none other than a mad looking Ethan. He shouted get away from my girl! The boy looked stunned. Kayla took a quick glance around to see that nobody was nearby and she glared at Ethan and shouted how dare you say that! I for 1 am NOT your girl! And 2 you have no right to push somebody down that I was only talking to! Ethan looked at her in amazement. She did care and just kept shouting youre a jerk and I wanted to break up with you anyway. Youre the worst boy I ever met, and I dont want to see your ugly face again! She slapped Ethan hard and he ran out of the store as fast as he could. Kayla watched him with a very red and mad face until the automatic door shut. She turned to the stunned boy and helped him up. Im sorry about that. He was my boyfriend, but hes such a... jerk and I wanted to break up with him. And you helped me do it. He laughed nervously and said its ok. Kayla smiled and asked are you sure you dont want this CD? The boy nodded and said ya Im sure. Surprisingly, the boy walked with her to the cash register and out the door. Thanks again for letting me have the CD she said. No problem. I hope Ill meet you somewhere again. So do I agree Kayla blushing. Then the boy realized oh Im sorry, you dont know my name. My name is Jesse. Well Jesse my name is Kayla, and Im glad I met you responded Kayla smiling. Same here. Well, I hope Ill see you soon said Jesse taking a step back. Kayla nodded and called to Jesse Me to. Bye! Jesse called back See ya!
