| Chapter Three Lighting struck right outside the bus, causing everyone to jump. All electricity went out in the bus. "G-g-guys?" Jesse whispered. "Everyone okay?" Frankie's shaky voice asked. A courus of "yeah" and "fine" filled the room. Lighting hit again and Jesse saw a figure in the window. It resembled a wolf slightly. He screamed and suddenly, lighting struck the bus itself, knocking everyone unconsious. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Let's go!" The order was given and the five men ran in to the bus. The five teenagers were picked up and quickly taken out of the bus and piled into a small van. "Come on," a female voice called out, "Before any cars show up!" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Are they with us?" he asked. "Yes sir, I'm on my way to the infermery now, awaiting their arrival." "Remember, we don't know what their abilities are yet." "Yes sir, I'll be careful." "What about the bus?" "Already taken care of sir. It's been moved as well," she replied. "Everything is going as planned." "Very well then. Go await their arrival." "Yes sir." She turned on her heels and left the room. She closed the door behind her. "I just hope this works," she whispered. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* The dark van pulled in front of the large building. Five stretchers were awaiting them. The doors of the vans opened, revealing the five motionless bodies. "Put them each on a stretcher," ordered the awaiting doctor. "Hurry, we have to get them in before they awaken!" The five boys were hurridley placed on stretchers and wheeled into the infermery. Chapter Four Jesse moaned and moved his head to the side, not opening his eyes. He felt weird. It felt as though electricity was running through his body. His head ached as he attempted to recall the previous events. He remembered the lights going out... He gasped and attempted to sit up, but he was held down in restraints. Covering his eyes were dark sun glasses. "Jean...this ones awake," an unfamiliar masculine voice called. Jesse tried to move, but he was held down tightly. "Don't be afraid," a female voice told him. "These are just saftey precausions. We're not going to hurt you." "W-w-what's going on?" Jesse asked, "Where are my friends?" "They're still unconcious, but next door." "What's going on?" Jesse demanded. "We'll tell you all later. I'll let you up, but you must keep the sun glasses on, okay?" Jesse attempted to nod. The restraints were removed and he turned to see a man dressed in black wearing sun glasses. "I need to go check on the others, stay with him," Jean replied and left. "Who are you?" Jesse asked, sitting up on the bed. "I'm Scott," the man said. "What are we doing here?" "You'll find out soon enough." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Are they all awake?" Charles Xavier's voice startled her. "Yes sir, shall we bring them?" "Do so immediatly." "Yes sir." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Chris stared unsurely at the man in the room. Man-if he could even call him that...He had fur covering his body, making him appear half wolf. Chris gulped and shot nervous glances at "Logan", which was the man's name. Logan was leaning against the wall, watching Chris intently. It was a good thing they had been instructed to keep the sun glasses on because Chris didn't want the fear in his eyes visible to anyone. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Greg watched the girl who had been left with him. She was wearing gloves and most of her skin was covered. She was sitting in a chair on the other side of the room, staring intently at Greg. "So...what's your name?" Greg asked her. "Rogue." "Rogue..." he asked, looking for a last name. "Rogue. Just Rogue." "Okay Just Rogue...what's going on here?" She couldn't have been more than a year older than him, if even. "You'll find out in a bit," she said. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* The white haired woman stood gazing at Matt from across the room. Would this work? she wondered. Could these...kids really help us? "Um...who are you?" Matt asked unsurely. "Call me Storm," she told him. Matt raised his eyebrows. "Storm?" "You got a problem with that?" she snapped, then sighed. She was not going to start a one on one with a sixteen year old! "Whoa, sorry...it's just...different," he said. He adjsuted himself on the bed. "So um...when exactly do I get out of here?" "Soon." Matt sighed. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Jean Grey sat in a room with Frankie. All the five boys were wearing sunglasses and they were wearing gloves and long clothing covering their skin. They couldn't be sure of their powers yet, so all precausions were taken. "Let's go," she told the boy. "Professor X has asked for you now." Professor X...now why didn't he like the sound of that? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* +Next+ |
