I know I'm not so great at keeping in touch with many of you, so bought a phatty digital camera and developed this website to keep you all posted on what's up - I even have a webcam link at the bottom of this page. News:
03/02/05 - Ok, so I don't update this thing that much. Truthfully it's because I have my own domain name that I'd like to get this website all switched over to, but I haven't been able to figure out how yet! (and then I forget about about it for awhile, obviously) Anyways, if you've missed out on the big news, I've left active duty AF to pursue school full time as a reservist. The GI Bill rules! I make more money now than I did full time and I don't have to put up with any of the crap (except once a month and these guys are pretty cool so far). So, I live in Santa Cruz, CA now in a great house right on the beach (see pics below). I've mainly been enjoying my time off from the military and concentrating on school like I've never been able to before. I actually get to read the chapters now instead of just absorbing the lectures the best I can (which has worked great, but isn't really the point). I might take a job waiting tables just for the extra cash soon, but I really don't need to, so it's tempting not to. A part of me says I should take this opportunity to make the most I can, while I can, but the other part of me says I should enjoy the life of a full time student. Life is good here besides all of that and I feel very blessed. Everything I've prayed for has worked out to the tee in my transition from active duty. Sometimes things don't always work out like we hope, but in this case it has, so props to God - I'm extreely grateful!! Besides all of this, I should be hopping a flight to visit my friend in Guam before he PCS's (changes bases permanently) in a few weeks. Maybe I'll get motivated to post pics from there. Hope all is well!
