03/29/04 - Well, there's one sure thing about Missouri and that is that not much changes around here. I did, however get a Saab convertible...a dream car of mine. I'll be sure to post some pics of it in the next week or so. I also just returned from court to convince my landlords they needed to give me back back my security. It apparently worked. They settled with enough to cover what they owed + plane + interest. Not a bad deal, considering I got to come home for free. Anyway, there's a link for Winlyrics at the bottom of this screen...a great plug-in for Winamp (the best free media player I've come across). Winlyrics automatically loads the lyrics for about 95% of all songs it Winamp plays. I get a free 2 year subscription to it if I get 300 unique hits, so click to check it out even if it doesn't sound cool to you. You can also link to download Winamp there, which is totally free and a million times better than Microsoft or Real products. I highly reccomend it! I should be unvailing a whole new domain for this website, since this one seems to have more problems than it's worth. As soon as it's up you'll all get a link. See ya! 11/18/03 - As promised, the B-2 photos are up. I always thought it would be cool to be near these planes, but I never thought I would be stationed at their home base. Anyway, all is well here. My phone number is changing, so I will e-mail the new # out to everyone who's address I have by Friday Nov 21, I'd say. If I miss you and you'd like to get a hold of me, just drop me a line at [email protected]. I went to a Missouri State football game last weekend, but I forgot my camera...it was boring anyway. The real fun was at the Medeski, Martin & Wood show afterwards. Anyways, I plan to be home Dec 20-30th, so I hope to see you all then...

10/26/03 - Alright! I'm finally here at Whiteman AFB, located in good old Knob Noster, MO. Between Tech School and here I was fortunate enough to spend 3 weeks in Europe. I spent a ton of $, but it was well worth it. Thanks for being patient with me for not updating this sooner. I now have high-speed internet access in my room, so life should be a lot easier. I'm still waiting for 2/3 of my stuff to arrive, but adjusting here has been easy. It's so nice to have my own room again. There really isn't much to do here, but my good friend from tech school is here and he's a good friend to have around. I'm sure as time goes by (and I get a car), I'll learn the ropes to coping with small town life. Everyone at work is pretty cool and the job isn't too bad. Anyways. E-mail me with anything that you think would make this site better and I'll see what I can do. Miss all of ya!

08/16/03 - I've started outprocessing from here, so I'm in the home stretch. I will, in fact, be going to Germany for possibly 3 weeks immediately after graduation and then off to MO for permanent party status! I can't wait. Supposedly we all have high speed internet in our rooms there, so I should be updating this site alot. I didn't do anything too exciting for my birthday, just had a few beers with some people from class. Thanks for being patient!

07/04/03 - I should be headed to Germany after I graduate for a few weeks of vacation. I can't wait!

06/01/03 - It's been a while since I've updated this, so here's what's new...Probably the biggest news is that I've gotten word on what my next assignment will be. It seems I will be stationed at Whiteman AFB in Knob Noster, Missouri. It actually doesn't sound that bad considering I'll be working with the stealth bombers. I've heard it's the best base for my my job field. I'm so excited to get out of training status! I graduate September 17th and should be coming home atleast for a little while. I may even go back to Costa Rica to brush up on my spanish, which I've gotten quite ugly at. Class is going well (I'm 2nd in the class). It's hot as hell here on most days. That's about it for now. Sorry, still no pictures. Once I get to Whiteman, I shouldn't have a problem with uploading pictures more frequently.

04/19/03 - Back to 4th Phase (the least restricted for training status), so I visited friends in Dallas

04/13/03 - I'm here in TX now. It sucks for the most part. I'm trying to make the most of it, but it takes a lot of effort - there's absolutely nothing to do. Fortunately I've been bumping into bunches of people from DLI, including a good friend of mine. I currently have all the restrictions of a newbie until I finish in-processing on the 18th. I've been talking to a bunch of people who are partially through the course here and many seem to like it...we'll see. I should be a class leader, which means a lot of added responsibility, but I'd rather be in charge than a follower. I'll be updating the site with new pictures as soon as I am allowed to use a camera - in the next few weeks.

04/01/03 - I think I have phneumonia :(

03/30/03 - Right now I have orders to go to Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX on 04/10/03 :( . I've heard it's a really boring there, but it should only be for 5 or 6 months while I train some more. I'm trying to stay here as a Spanish linguist, so maybe I'll stay here instead...I'm not giving up until I'm outta here!
