| Latest Poetry Nathan Coppedge NEWTON�S APPLE I caught an apple falling and wondered what I missed There were greater wonders crawling than in that cumbered fist Is the apple �one� because no others fell Or is it merely real�being potent hail? I further guessed its reason: to dazzle and obscure How to spy its shadow, or what its shadow holds if pursuit in this direction distracts me from my chores?
