Actor of the month February, 2002: Angel

How would you describe the character you play?
  Dark, brooding, externally very confident and yet emotionally very vulnerable.

  What drew you to that charcter? What makes him or her great to roleplay?
  Well, I love the dichotomy between his confidence in a crisis, his highly developed fighting skills and his uncertainty in dealing with people on a personal level. Especially when you consider the fact that before his transformation into a vampire Liam was quite.... gregarious, shall we say? ;)

  The tragic figure striving for something he feels he can never achieve, something he doesn't even really think he deserves is very archetypical, and one that's always appealed to me. He's a very complex, rich character that I can really sink my teeth into (if you'll pardon the pun... *g*).

  Besides, there's the coat. To quote Lorne "It's all about the coat..."

  Where do you intend to take your character in "Drusilla's Revenge"? What are your plans for him or her?
  Ok, reveal my plans and be mysterious? LOL Ok, here goes: I plan to take Angel to Smallville (*g*) to take care of that pesky little family problem that's cropped up. There may also be blonde issues.... 

  Favorite bit of the story so far.
  Well, I've really liked playing out Kate's reaction to the revelation of Angel's true nature. I guess my favorite bit would be when Angel made her shoot him to prove the point... *g*

  If you could choose another player to be Actor of the Month, who would it be, and why?
  Well, I know you asked for one, but I'm going to give you two. First would be Jewel, because she's been doing such a marvelously subtle job of depicting Willow's realization of her feelings for Tara. Second would be Steph W., cause I think she's just done such a great job of portraying early Tara.

Actor of the month Janruary, 2002: Kate Lochley

How would you describe the character you play?
Kate is older than the scoobies, and kinda jaded from her experiences on the police force. She has a lot of issues, with men especially, because of past relationships and growing up with her father. It's very hard for her to trust, and when she does and it's broken, it's even harder to get it back. She hides most of her emotions because she's found it easier to function that way, even if it ends up keeping her from the things she really wants.

What drew you to that charcter? What makes him or her great to roleplay?
I've never played Kate before, and I've liked her character for a while, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Patrick told me about the game, and he was playing Angel, so I wanted to play someone that would have lots of interaction with him. :)

Where do you intend to take your character in "Drusilla's Revenge"? What are your plans for him or her?
Where do I intend to take my character? Uh... to Smallville? ;)

No, I'm just kidding. I don't really have many plans at the moment, other than more awkwardness with Angel and getting to Smallville with the others.

...or maybe I do, but I'm not telling.

Uh, I liked the whole backseat standoff between Kate & Angel in his car with her gun...

If you could choose another player to be Actor of the Month, who would it be, and why?
T'would be Patrick, cuz he's a great Angel and a great all around player :)
