The Ogham-
The Irish Ogham script of text, also called the Tree alphabet, was said to have been in use until 700 C.E. at the same time as the Celtic Tree calander. The Celtic Tree Calander is which the months are reckoned from new moon to new moon.

It is also rumored and believed that on many fronts- the Tree Alphabet, also called Ogham was a pure invention by the poet Robert Graes, who claims to have intuited the evidence. For more info, read Liz and Colin Murray,
The Celtic Tree Oracle, and Rober Graves, The White Goddess.
