This is a cross over between The Sentinel and Torchwood. A alien device affects Jack, Owen, and Ianto changing their lives forever, and bringing them closer together.

The Senfic Universe, created by dru and harem, is an AU that takes a sharp left turn from cannon at about the time Jack disappears, and devolves rather quickly into Jack/Owen/Ianto. It begins with "Cure the Senses" which sets the stage.
