In the first course, I teach you to dance the basic steps of salsa. You will learn how to lead and follow, how to turn, how to improvise, and how to move "latin style".
I cover all the common types of salsa, so that you can dance with anybody. People who have learned only Cuban Casino style, or only LA style, often find they can't dance with half the people in the room! My students don't have this problem.
More than anything, I'll teach you HOW TO DANCE. You can learn steps from the internet, but there is no one out there telling you how to dance with each other, what the technique is behind the steps, or how to improvise well. I teach all of these things, and have developed a ton of techniques that nobody else uses.
