Too many dance classes just show you "moves". That's all very well if your partner did the same class as you, but you're in trouble the moment you dance with someone new!! We aim to show you how to really dance, lead and follow, so that others will want to dance with you and you will look good on the floor.
To this end, we have carefully created a structured course for both beginner and intermediate students. We have also invented numerous techniques (which we are obviously not going to reveal here!) so that men can lead and put together steps, and ladies can follow successfully and stylishly.
My intention is to run small group classes with a focus on really being able to dance salsa well. I'm pretty serious about people learning proper technique. While I try to be fun, I think the most fun you can have is when you understand what you're doing and you can do it well. That's what I try to give my students.
I myself had my technique stripped down to the bone as an international competitor, and I have formal teacher training to pass what I learned on to my students. If that's the kind of class you think interests you, then drop me an email, no matter what your level.
