At Paige's two week check-up, she was up to 8 lbs. 14 oz. and 21 inches long, so she is growing well! We've been thankful that she does pretty well at night, so we're getting more sleep than we did with her brother and sister! Our neighbor asked us when she was going to start talking like Andrew and Morgan, and we said he should give her a few more weeks.
On Aug. 13, Paige got weighed again and is up to 9 lbs. 10 oz. She didn't want to hold still for the nurse, so we didn't get a good length measurement, but she keeps growing!
At six weeks, Paige started smiling! She continues to grow and sleeps well at night. If we could only improve our afternoons and evenings! She usually takes a nice nap in the morning, but the rest of the day is random with short little naps here and there. She also likes to stay up late, sometimes into the wee hours of the morning.
Paige is now 2 months old! She has a 2 month check up, but it's not until Oct. 1st, so we can't update her stats yet.
OK, we've got a status update for Paige. At her 2 month check up, she weighed 13 lbs. 2 oz. and was 23 1/2 inches long, so she's grown 5 lbs and 3 inches since she was born. She's smiling a lot now and "talking" to us, so that makes life more enjoyable. She's a bit of a night owl, so we hope that doesn't last forever. At least by a third child we are well aware that "this too shall pass."
