My website has been specially made for you to see how littering can end up in and how not recycling damages our planet.

Pollution is one of the things that will damage the planet.

All of human life is built on land and yet some people still think of polluting the base of our entire civilization. Ground pollution is one of the worlds largest forms of pollution. Ground pollution is mainly made up of those "evil" citizens many have nicknamed litterbugs or tossers. In this site, you can see how bad littering can become.

Half of all of the ground pollution is caused by littering. People litter because they are too lazy to walk to the closest bin. This causes major problems for the planet.

Smoking also causes major problems for the planet. First of all, smoking contaminates the very air that we breath. For more information about that problem, you should visit my colleagues website. It is on my links as air pollution.

Smoking is another problem is that most smokers don't bin their butts. As the advertisements say "Don't be a tosser, Bin your Butts". Smokers may not think that one small cigarette butt may not do much damage, but millions of them tossed onto the ground by millions of smokers around the world causes a catastrophe. Other pedestrians unlike the larger pieces of litter normally ignore Cigarette remains. The street cleaning machines often miss them, as they are
too small.

The other major polluting problem for ground pollution is landfill. Landfill is what most governments do with all the rubbish collected from citizens of the city. Landfill is put in a giant hole after chopping away the trees and dumping the rubbish in. This place is called a dump. There is a picture of a dump on the right of the screen.

All of the is ground pollution ruins the soil of our planet. By ruining the soil, we destroy all the vegetables and because vegetables are at the bottom of the food chain, all the animals will die and thus we humans will die as well.

We can stop a lot of pollution by recycling as much as possible. When shopping, buy reusable bags like the ones available in Woolworths.
