Useful sites

BBC BiteSize is a good site for years 8 - 11. You won't need to know everything on there, as it caters for lots of different courses.

Creative Chemistry is a great site with lots of interactive quizzes and so on.

Chemguide is an excellent site for post-16 courses especially. There are some superb explanations of difficult topics.

The IB Wikibook is an ongoing project to produce notes and explanations and pretty pictures for all parts of the IB chemistry course (both standard and higher levels).

Chemistry React is the official website for people studying the Nuffield A-level chemistry course.

A very specialist place for Food Science notes.

Avogadro contains lots of practice questions for calculations. There are also definitions and plenty of useful information.

Google Scholar is pretty awesome if you really want to know something.


Interesting stuff

We all need food. The Exploratorium website has lots of interesting bits about the science of cooking.

Ever wondered how a rabbit works? I have, but How Stuff Works doesn't seem to know. It's not a bad place though.
