Visiting Friends
Brian and I visited Jaimie together, just before our first trip to Heidelberg. The next week, I spent three days with Jasmin, who has been my pen pal since 7th grade. I had never met Jasmin before, so it was exciting to finally talk to her in person.
This is a Speedster. When we were with Jaimie and Stefan, we saw this car sitting next to the street. We thought it looked pretty cool, so Brian and I got in and posed for a picture! (That really is what happened.)
This is Jaimie, a friend from high school, with Stefan, her German husband. They live in Germany now, but hope to move to the U.S. soon.
These are some hitch hikers that Brian and I picked up. We stopped for gas on our way back from Heidelberg and saw a girl that looked familiar. We talked to her and found out that it really was Hanka, a Czech who studied at our high school for one year. The boy next to her is Ivo, one of her "hitch hiking buddies."
See that Porsche Carrera? This is a picture of the rental car Brian and I had when we visited Jaimie and went to Heidelberg the first time. (Ours is the Ford Ka next to the Porsche)
This is a palace in Ludwigsburg that Jasmin and I went to. The grounds were huge and gorgeous. We spent a whole afternoon there and didn't have time to see most of the gardens.
