Hey, more choices! Which pictures would you like to see first? At Rebecka's web site, your opinion really does make a difference.
England was my first and last destination in Europe. The first ten days I was there, my class from SNU explored many sites that are important in the history and literature of the United Kingdom. The last week of my trip, I visited places in England that interest me personally. On this page, you'll see pictures from each of these English tours.
I was in Germany for most of the summer. While I was there, I visited Brian and two of my other friends, Jasmin and Jaimie. Brian and I also traveled with his parents for about a week. This page has pictures from Baumholder, Trier, Mannheim, Dachau, Heidelberg, and many other fabulous locations.
I spent one day in Paris, so you won't find many photos here. The page does include pictures from some of the major sites in Paris, like the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Notre Dame cathedral. You will not, however, find pictures of the Arc de Triomphe, mimes, or Frenchmen smoking pipes.
During my three day adventure in Spain, I toured Tarragona, Madrid, and Barcelona. Tarragona is an old Roman city that climbs from the Mediterranean coast to the top of a hill. Madrid, the nation's capital, is in central Spain. Even though it lacks a view of the sea, I loved the scenery and architecture in Madrid. Barcelona, once site of the Olympics, is another city on the coast. It is also the home of several buildings designed by Gaudi, a 19th century Spanish architect. Walking through the city, it was obvious that he was a key person in Barcelona's development.
