Canaan

Canaan was named after the Land of Canaan. I tried a LOT of names on her before this one and it just seemed to fit. My Pup of Promise!

Sampson

Sampson

Sampson was named for the Sampson in the Bible... long, black hair and incredible strength. But the name didn't do justice to his joyous nature!

Cooper
approximately 10 weeks

Cooper is named after Leon Cooper, who (along with 2 others) was given the Pulitzer Prize in Physics in 1972 for their theory of superconductivity (a complete disappearance of electrical resistance in a substance especially at very low temperatures -- MY Cooper has a complete disappearance of loyalty to his people when in the presence of visitors!) Coopers AKC registered name is "Super Coopertivity."

Maxwell

Maxwell
approximately 6 weeks

Maxwell is named after James Clerk Maxwell, whose research united electricity and magnetism into the concept of the electro-magnetic field, giving us the Maxwell Equations. OUR Maxwell unites a magnetic personality with pure joy of life! Maxwell's AKC registered name is Maggie's Magnetic Maxwell (Maggie is his mom).

Max and Cooper
Sleepy brothers - 7 weeks old.

Chad had Max's name picked out before he picked the puppy. I went through a list of physicists who had won Pulitzer Prizes until I found a name I liked! We took Max home a week before we took Cooper home and this is the first day they were back together again.
