6.Crossword Partners

   Students have either A or B crossword sheet.  They must give each other
   clues orally to help completing the crossword.  Clues must not contain the
   word needed.  For example, if the answer is 'SOLAR', students say 'this
   power is energy from the sun'.

  Sample crossword will be up shortly.
7. Three level guides  "Sources of Greenhouse Gases"

   Show the graph and the short text on OHT.
  (This will be uploaded!)

   Then give students the questions.
  
8. Quiz Show

   For this activity, students make up 5 questions in pairs.
   They should make both easy and difficult questions.

       e.g. What is the formula for Carbon Dioxide?

  Divide the class into two teams and ask them to sit in two lines.
  The two students in the first row will be asked the first question.
  The one of the two stands up faster than the other wil get the right to 
   answer.  If the answer is correct, the team wil get one point. If the answer is
   not correct, the other student can answer.
  The students in the second row move to the first row and the first row
  students move to the end row.
9. Group Assignment Task

    Students are to choose from the two options.
           * Create a poster and design a T-Shirt for community awareness
              regarding conserving energy or global warming.
                     This option is for a group of 3 or 4.
   
            OR

           * Create a questionnaire for class survey regarding conserving energy
              and/or global warming.  Display the result in chart form.
              Submit both the questionnaire and the diagra,m.
                     This option is for a group of not more than 3.
