presenters?
The oldest is 22 and the youngest just 13.
How do I become a
Driving Force presenter?
Give us a call during office hours (9am-5pm) Mon-Fri and one of the friendly
people at Gippsland FM will get you in touch with the Driving Force
co-ordinator.
Do you have special
guests on the Driving Force?
From time to time, we may get special guests in the studio. At the moment we
are working on getting a number of artists such as Grinspoon, The Living
End, Area-7, Superjesus, The Androids and hopefully, fingers crossed the FOO
FIGHTERS.
What was the last
song played�?
Let�s say you missed the presenter announcing that last song. You can always
dial 03 51348444 and ask the presenter what it was.
How do I contact a
specific member?
The best way to contact a specific member is to fill out the form on the
contact page and the appropriate member will receive the email.
Where does the
Driving Force get their music from?
Most of the top 40 music comes from a company called SBA. To receive a SBA
CD, you must have an A.B.N. Presenters also get their music from various
music stores.
What happens if the
presenter doesn�t have the song I want?
Don�t change to another station!! If we don�t have a particular song you are
after, we may have it further down the track. But in the meantime you can
request another track.
Does the Driving
Force hold events outside the radio station?
We are currently working on that. If you would like to suggest something,
hit our contacts page and fill in a form.
Do you have to
adhere to APRA?
Yes. All radio stations have to adhere to APRA rules (Australian Performing
Rights Association). Gippsland FM, like many other radio stations, community
and commercial has to pay a fee each year. (This helps pay the artist, so it
encourages them to put out more albums.
Can you get me
cheaper tickets to gigs?
The short answer is no. The Driving Force has no ability to offer listeners
cheaper tickets. But always make sure you check our competition pages just
in case we have a competition to win tickets to gigs!
Can you get me
backstage at a live show?
Again, No. This one you will have to work out yourself.
Is it true that *
