Aric D. Vonasek's 1984 Berlinetta
I am the proud owner of this 84 Berlinetta.  It has a new paint job, including a 2 3/4" cowl induction hood (fiberglass).  The origional 305 is in the car with Edelbrock intake, cam and headers topping it off.  The tranny is a 700R4 out of a Corvette that I had built up with B&M products.  It has a high flow catalytic converter and a 2 3/4" straight pipe exhaust heading out the back into dual resonator tips.  New 15" ARE wheels with 275/50-15's in back and 235/50-15's in front ( BFG's ).  I have done lots more to numerous to tell here.  I have won lots of shows and future plans call for a Vortec headed 350 that will be close to 400 HP to be installed this winter.

Year: 1987
Model: White Camaro Coupe
Engine: was 305 cid now is 388cid, auto w/overdrive

Web: http://www.87camaro.8m.com A must see!!

I got this car in April of 1998 for $3,000.  When I was looking for my first car, this was the second one I saw.  I know nothing about cars, so for my high school senior project I built a 388cid with all the goodies.  The 305 had no power like the 388cid has.  I still have the stock auto w/overdrive.  I want to get a really beefed up one plus a supercharger.  I use this car as a daily driver and I get 13mpg city and 21mpg highway.

"I feel like I'm in high school again! This is the fastest production car I have owned in about 25 years.  I have never owned a Camaro before so this is quite an experience.  I will be doing mods as time goes on."

Mods: Stock

Comments:
Mark has many plans for his Berlinetta.  He says, "This car is soon to be transformed into 'Burlynetta'."  His plans may include Edelbrock TES headers, removal of converter and air pump, add 3" cat-back system.  Also a fabricated under-hood cold air induction setup and swapping in an IROC/WS6 steering box.  Later, a cam, manifold, and carb change.  Trans-Go or Fairbanks shift kit and Eibach Sport springs to drop and tighten up the handling.  "My ultimate goal is to have fun, subtle streetcar that will keep up with or beat 3rd gen IROC-T/A's and their faster 4th gen counterparts.Great looking car Mark, sounds like your going to have one sweet performing ride!
