[Note: It has been reported in ‘The Noble Quan’ at the footnote of Verse No. 13:39*on the authority of ‘Tafseer Al-Qurtabi that once Umar ibn Al-Khattab, while circumambulating (performing Twaf of) Kaba became full of tears and prayed: “ O’ Allah! If You have written me amongst the blessed, then please keep me firm with them; but if You have written me amongst the wretched, then please include me amongst the blessed ones and with those whom You blessed them with Your forgiveness, as it is You Who removes what You will and with You is the Mother of the Book.”]

iv) Multazim: (It lies between the Black Stone & the Door of Ka’ba) Stick to Multazim, after completing Twa’f. (In case of rush, just point towards it.) Pray to Almighty Allah.

v) Maqame Ibrahim: (This is the Stone where Prophet Ibrahim stood, when he erected the foundations of Kaba.)

Recite: “ Wattikhizoo Min Maqame Ibrahima Musalla.” (2:125)

[“And take Maqame Ibrahim as a place for offering prayers.”]

Offer 2 Rakat at or near Maqame Ibrahim, after performing Twaf.

[Note: These 2 Rakat are ‘Wa’jib, and , therefore, must be offered soon after Twa’f, even if it is the time for the rising of sun or its setting.]

vi)Zam Zam: Now come to Zam Zam. Drink its water, while standing.

vii) Sai at As-Safa & Al-Marwa: Climb to As-Safa (Hill).

Move towards Al-Marwa. While moving on the track, run up to a specified distance (i.e. between the green lights), and then move in a normal way. (Note that women should not run.) On climbing Al- Marwa, recite again, as above, and pray.* The First Round or Track has been completed. In all, complete 7 Tracks, ending at Al-Marwa.
