2:104-108 RESPECTFULNESS TOWARDS THE HOLY PROPHET
2:104 “ O’ Muslims! Do not say: ‘Ra’ina’ (to the Holy Prophet)
(since this word is rude and disgraceful); but (rather) say: ‘Unzurna’
(which means ‘kindly look at us); and you must listen to him
attentively. And for the pagans, there is a painful torment.”
2:105 “ The pagans from the People of the Book and from the
polytheists do not like that any good be sent down to you (O’
Muslims) (i.e. the Last Prophet & the Last Book) from your
Lord. And Allah reserves His Mercy for whom He pleases; and
Allah is highly Gracious.”
2:106 “ There is no Verse which We abrogate or allow it to be
forgotten, but We substitute it with a better one or similar to it.
Don’t you know that Allah is All Powerful on every thing?”
2:107 “ Don’t you know that to Allah only belongs the kingdom
of the heavens and earth?; and there is neither any Guardian nor
any supporter for you (Muslims) besides Allah.”
2:108 “ Do you (O’ Muslims) intend to ask your Messenger
such questions, as (Prophet) Musa (Moses) was asked before?;
and who so ever replaces his faith with disbelief, he certainly
went far away from the Straight Path.”
