3. The Jews tried to kill Messenger Isa (Jesus), but Almighty Allah protected him. They surely did not kill Jesus, but Allah raised him towards him. They neither killed nor crucified him. (4:171)
4. The Jews tried also to kill the Last Messenger, but could not do so:
After the city of Khaiber was conquered by our Holy Prophet, the meat of goat was presented to him by the Jews. On asking them different questions, the Holy Prophet made them to admit their crime. (Bukhari:2998)
NOTE: The Messenger of Allah could never be killed.
2:90-96 THE STRANGE AND PROUD THINKING OF THE JEWS
2:90 "How worst is that (disbelief) which they have bought at their
own cost due to prejudice disbelieving in that (Book i.e.
Al-Quran) which Allah has sent down with His Grace upon
whom He pleases amongst His slaves. Consequently, severe
wrath (of Allah) fell upon them; and for the non-believers
there is a humiliating torment.” (See also 2:105;6:114;10:58)
2:91 "And when they are asked to believe in what Allah has
sent down (i.e. Al-Quran), they say (proudly): ‘We believe in
only (Torah) which has been sent down to us, and reject all
others’; whereas this (Al-Quran) is the Truth, certifying that
which is with them. Say Holy Prophet): ‘ Why then you tried
before to kill the Prophets of Allah, if you are true (in your
statement)?. (The fact is that you do not believe in any Book).”
2:92 "And, indeed, there came to you (Prophet) Musa (Moses) with
clear Signs, but you started worshipping the calf after that and
thus you proved to be non-believers . (See also 2:54;7:152-3)
