Al-Quran states:
&#x And ask them about the town, which was situated on the bank of a
river, when they exceeded the limits of the Sabbath (Saturday). The
fish came to them floating & jumping on water on the Day of
Sabbath (Saturday), while on days other than Saturday, the fish
disappeared. . And, thus, We tested them, since they disobeyed.”
(7:163)
II. DARWINN’S THEORY REJECTED:
It is clear from the aboveVerse 2:65 that those, who violated the sacredness of Saturday, were converted into monkeys. Some of the so called wise scientists conclude from this Verse that the reverse is also true i.e. man was evolved from a monkey. Others are not tired of saying that ‘man is a talking animal, social animal etc. The Holy Quran rejects and explodes all such theories and hypotheses on the following grounds:
a) Almighty Allah created man (Adam) with His Sacred Hands.(38:75)
b) The rest of the creature has been created by
Allah’s Word ‘Kun’(i.e. ‘be’) and it happens or
begins to happen (‘Fayaku’n).(19:35;36:82)
c) Man is the best of the make (95:4);
honored (17:70); Viceroy on earth (2:30); the
resources of the world for him (2:29;45:13) etc.
