4. Again note that the Holy Prophet while defining the word ‘Ihsan’on a question asked by Angel Gibraeel in the presence of his companions said:
“ Worship Allah (so attentively) as if you see Him..” (Bukhari:50)
NOTE: Now study another disobedience by the Jews in the Verses ahead.
2:57-61 MANNA + SALWA & SLAVISH ATTITUDE OF THE JEWS
2:57 "And We spread on you the shadow of the clouds (in the
desert) and brought down to you ‘Al-Manna’ (the sweet fluid
of trees) as well as ‘As-Salwa’ ( the birds with delicious meat).
(Remember) you must eat the pure things that We have given
you. ( But they were fed up with the pure nutritional food of
the desert as well as the military training there). And (by doing
so) they did not harm us, but they punished themselves ( by
wishing to go back to the state of slavery ).”
2:58 "And when We commanded: ‘ Enter this town and eat therein
with liberty that you wish; and enter its gate prostrating and
reciting (the word) ‘Hittatun’ (i.e. O’ Allah! Forgive us), and
We will forgive you, wiping off your sins; and We shall give
an additional reward to ‘Mohsineen’ (of good deeds).’”
2:59 "But the rebels substituted the word (Hittatun) with another
word which was quite against that which We ordered (i.e. they
said: ‘ O Allah! Give us bread)’. We, therefore, brought down
punishment from the heaven to the rebels because of their
