The Holy Quran states:
“ And Allah (Almighty) sent down to you (O’ Muhammad-peace be upon you)
the Book (Al-Quran) and wisdom, ; and taught you what ever you did not know.
And the Grace of Allah on you is ever great.”(4:113)
5. Superiority of the People of Knowledge - The Holy Quran states:
a) “… Indeed, only those fear Allah much amongst His people, who are
&Ulema (the Scholars, Scientists)’…”(35:28)
NOTE: When the above Verse is read along with its previous Verse (35:27), it becomes clear that the Scientists are included in the word ‘Ulema (the Scholars)’. See also 3:190;39:21.
b) “…The Learned can not be equated with the ignorant.”(39:9)
c) “… The people of knowledge are elevated to high positions.(58:11)
d) [Prophet Adam was superior to the Angels because of his knowledge.]
2:34-39 ADAM & IBLEES (Devil)
2:34 "And remember (O’ Prophet!) when We commanded the Angels to prostrate before
Adam; then all of them prostrated, except Iblees (the devil). He disobeyed and was proud
of himself; he was thus enlisted amongst the disbelievers.”
2:35 "And We commanded: ‘ O’ Adam! You and your wife live here in Paradise, and that
you both may eat in it as much as you like and from anywhere you wish, but you must not
draw near this tree, lest you are amongst those who are unjust.”
2:36 "But Satan (the devil) confused both of them about that (tree)and got them out of that
place, where they had been living. We then commanded: ‘ Get down (all of you) from here;
some of you are the enemy of others. And for you on earth is the dwelling as well as benefit
for a specific period.’”
