6. The hypocrites were a source of troubles for the Muslims. This Surah informed the believers that the hypocrites would be finally exposed. Nevertheless, it further stated that it was the Holy Messenger only, who really knew about the hypocrites - the trouble- makers (3:179). It may be noted that just before the Battle of Uhad started, the hypocrites were exposed, when they refrained from participating in the battle by making lame excuses.

7. Both the Surahs on Al-Baqarah and Aal-Imran will argue (intercede) in favor of the persons reciting them, as the Holy Prophet said. (Muslim - Mishkat:2018)

8. Islam & Muhammad (peace be upon him) for all:

This Surah clearly points to all humanity that no religion other than Islam is acceptable to Allah (3:19,83,85) and that Muhammad (peace be him) is the Messenger of Almighty Allah for all the people and for all times to come. In this connection, a solid promise was taken from all the Prophets and through them from their followers that they must believe in the Last Prophet (Muhammad - peace be upon him) and to assist him on his coming (3:81).

9. Rise and fall of nations:

In the Surahs of Al-Baqarah (2:143) and Aal-e-Imran (3:110), the Muslims have been declared as the best Ummah, since they watch humanity over their deeds, in addition to the fact that they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong . This Surah also indicates in its Verse 3:26 that the leadership of the world has been taken over from the People of the Book and handed over to the Companions of the Holy Prophet. This Verse further indicates that the rise and downfall of the nations take place, according to the goodness lying in the Hands of Almighty Allah: “Qulillahumma Ma’likal…Biyadikal Khair…” (3:126)

To avoid downfall, the Muslims have been commanded to hold together the Rope of Almighty Allah (i.e. obey the Commandments of Allah and His Messenger) and not to split up into groups. (3:103)

10. Ever- readiness and Protection of the Islamic State:

In the Last Verse of Surah Aal-Imran (3:200), the Muslims have been commanded to show stead-fastness as well as perseverance while keeping themselves ready in facing the threat of the enemy with all of their might, cooperation and unity under all circumstances.
