2:266 “ Will any of you like to have a garden for him of dates and grapes with rivers flowing underneath and having all kinds of fruits therein, and then (in such a state of effluence) the old age comes upon him when his children are still (too small and) weak. At this stage, (all of a sudden) a strong wind with fire strikes upon it, burning (and destroying) it to ashes. Likewise Allah explains His Verses to you so that you may ponder (over them).”

Note : Caliph Umar said:
deeds of a wealthy person obeying the Commandments of Allah; but then
Allah thrusts the devil upon him when he starts committing sins, which
destroys all of his deeds.’ (Bukhari:4264)
The Holy Quran states in this regard:
“ …When the land took its beauty and was decorated (with colorful crops, fruits as well as flowers) and its owners thought that they were powerful on it (to harvest), suddenly then came upon it Our Commandment (of punishment) during the night or day and We made it a devastated clean piece of land as if there were nothing on it yesterday.” (10:24)
2:267 SPEND THE BEST FROM THE LAWFUL EARNING
“ O you who believe! Spend (in the Way of Allah) ‘Tayyib’ (pious and the best) from what you have (lawfully) earned as well as from that which We have produced for you from earth. And do not intend to spend the worst from your earning, when you yourselves will not (like to) take it, except that you shut down your eyes about it. And know that, in deed, Allah is Allah is All-Rich and worthy of every praise.”
