2:262 “ Those, who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, and then after spending, they neither remind nor hurt with it, their reward is with Allah; and there will neither be any fear nor grief for them.”
2:263 “ The nice talk and forgiveness is better than the charity coupled with the injury (of hearts). And Allah is All-Rich, Most Enduring.”
2:264 “ O those who believe! Don’t waste away your charity through reminder or injury. The example of the person, who spends his wealth for exhibiting it to the people when he does not believe in Allah and the Last Day, is like a wet rock with soil sticking to it so that when a torrential rain falls, it (i.e. the soil) leaves the away the rock as clean. Accordingly, they will not get any thing from what they did. And Allah does not guide the non-believers.” (See also 107:6;4:38)
2:265 “ And the example of those, who spend their wealth to seek the Pleasure of Allah and to derive strength for themselves (about their belief in Him) is like a garden situated on a high land so that if the rain falls torrentially, it doubles the yield; and if such a rain does not fall on it, only the dew (or light rain) is sufficient (for it) (so as to grow the fruits). And Allah sees all that you do.”
