2:260 “ And remember when Ibrahim submitted:‘ My Lord! Show me how You revive the dead’. He (Allah) replied: ‘Don’t you believe?’ He submitted: ‘ Of course, I do; but I just wish to have the satisfaction of my heart’. He (Allah) then commanded (him): ‘ Take four of the birds, and make them close to you. Then (slaughter them and) place on each (hill of the) mountain a portion of their meat. Then you call them (towards you), ( you will see that) they will come to you quickly. And know that, in deed, Allah is All Powerful, All Wise.”

The Holy Prophet said: “ We have more right to doubt than
(Prophet) Ibrahim…” (After that the Holy Prophet
recited the
above Verse 2:260) (Bukhari:4263)
2:261 – 2:266 TO SPEND IN THE WAY OF ALLAH
2:261 “ The example of those, who spend in the Way of Allah (i.e. for the cause of Islam) is like a grain that yields seven ears, each ear having 100 grains; and Allah multiplies it for him He wills. And Allah is Most Gracious All Aware of every thing.” (See also 6:160;25:70)

The Holy Prophet
“Whosoever sent money for spending in the
Way of Allah whereas he himself stayed in his house, there will be 700
Dirham for him for every Dirham (sent by him). And whosoever
personally fought in the Way of Allah and (also) spent money in it ,
there will be 700,000 Dirham for him for every Dirham.” (The Holy
Prophet then recited the above Verse.) (Ibn-e-Majah - Mishkat:3679)
