f) Again, the Bible degrades the position of many honorable Prophets, and labels false and dirty allegations upon them by pin pointing their names. The Last Book of Allah, on the other hand, protects their sanctity and raises their dignity and honor. It declares them as innocent, superior and guided by stating their names individually as below:

And that was Our Proof which We granted to (Prophet) Ibrahim

(Abraham) against his community. We raise the grades of those

whom We decide…And We gave him Isaac (his son) and Yaqub

(Jacob) (his grandson). We guided all of them, and before him,

We guided (Prophet) Noah, and from his descendants, (We guided)

Daud (David), Sulaiman (Soloman), Ayyub (Job),Yousuf (Joseph),

Musa (Moses), and Haroon (Aaron)…Zakariya (Zachariah), Yahya

(John), and Easa (Jesus)…Ismaeel (Ishmael), Al-Yasa’ (Elisa),

Yunus (Jonah), and Loot (Lot). And We made all of them superior

over the (entire creature) (of their times) of the Universe. And also

some of their fathers, descendants and brothers, We selected them,

and guided them to the Straight Path.” (6:83-87)

Even the decency, sanctity, and chastity of respectable Virgin Mary (i.e. the mother of Prophet Jesus Christ) will remain as protected and guarded in the Holy Quran. (See 3:35-38,42-64; 19:16-36)

g) The Holy Quran is ‘Muhayminan’ i.e. the Protector and Witness over the previous revealed Books (5:48). It testifies the truth contained therein, and rejects the falsehood imported into them.

h) The fighting between Talut and his enemy (Jalut), as stated in the above Verses, under discussion, also reflects the Truth and Trustworthiness of our Holy Messenger (Muhammad – peace be upon him) and the Holy Quran. Let us see:

i) The number of the companions of Talut in the above battle was the same, as that of the Companions of our Holy Messenger (Muhammad - peace be upon him) in the Battle of Badr. (Bukhari:3740 - 3742)

ii) The scene of the Battle of Badr resembles the battle field where Talut and his enemy (Jalut) fought. In the Battle of Badr, the Muslims were on the near (higher) side of the valley and their enemy on its other (lower) end…(8:42). Similar positions were held by Talut and his enemy, as indicated by the Bible. (Tadabbur-e-Quran under 2:249)
