iii) The Muslims were, thus, shown beforehand the scene of the battle of Badr in the form of the battlefield of Talut. The Jews, therefore, very well realized the truth and victory of our Holy Prophet, just as their leader Talut emerged victorious in the past. In spit of all this, they due to prejudice incited the Quraish of Mecca against the Muslims. (Tadabbur-e-Quran under 2:249)

iv) The Descendants of Israel were basically struggling for recapturing their Qiblah i.e. Masjid-e-Aqsa from where they were expelled. On the other hand, the Muslims were also struggling for regaining Kaba (Mecca) from where they were expelled. (Tadabbur-e-Quran under 2:243)

The above struggle and fighting stated in the above Verses of the Holy Quran with absolute accuracy and the similarities mentioned above, provide ample evidences and proofs for the non-believers that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is, undoubtedly, from the Messengers of Almighty Allah.

i) The Jews in spite of the above proofs were not ready to accept the Messenger-ship and superiority of any one else excepting their Messenger, just because of prejudice. Almighty Allah has granted peculiar superiority and different grades to His Messengers. But the People of the Book are bent upon refuting the Messengers other than their own. [For example, the Jews refuse to believe in Jesus as well as Muhammad (peace be upon them) just for nothing, whereas the Christians refute Muhammad (peace be upon him) in spite of the fact thatthey recognized him due to his qualities (2:146;6:20).] Had Almighty Allah willed, they could not have done so, but He does whatever He decides. And definitely, there lies solid wisdom in all of His Decisions. (See Tadabbur-e-Quran under 2:252)

The fight between the right and wrong will continue forever. There is no compulsion in Islam, and the right path has been distinguished from the wrong path. (2:256). Al-Quran states further in this regard:

a) “ And had Allah willed, He would have made mankind a single

nation (following Islam only,) (but He has not done so); and

they (i.e. the non-believers) will(, therefore,) continue to differ

ever.” (11:118)
