13) “Whosoever spent money in the way of Allah and himself stayed in his house, he will have 700 Dirham in lieu of every Dirham (spent by him); and whosoever participated in Jihad as well as he spent money in it, he will have 700,000 Dirham in lieu of every Dorham…”

14) “Standing in a row by any of you (for Jihad) is better than the prayers of sixty years.”

15) “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His messenger; and that they establish prayers and pay zakat…”

16) “There are six characteristics of a martyr before Allah:
a) He is forgiven in the first instance, and he is shown his place in the Paradise.
b) He is protected from the torment of grave.
c) He remains in tranquility from the great terror (on the day of judgement).
d) A throne of honor will be placed on his head, a ruby of which will
be better than this entire world and whatever is in it.
e) He will be married to 72 Hur Een.
f) His intercession in favor of 70 of his relatives will be accepted.”

17) “The prayers are the pillars of Islam and Jihad is its Zenith (top).”
(Tirmizi, Ibn Majah-Mishkat:26)
18) “…..I wish from my heart that I am killed (martyred) in the way of Allah, and brought to life again, killed again and brought to life again…..” (The Holy Prophet repeated such words three or four times.)

19) “The best amongst you is he, who has held the horse with its reins and participates in the way of Allah (i.e. Jihad).”

20) “The best life is of a man, who has held his horse with its reins in the way of Allah, and whenever he hears a threatening voice, he rushes towards it by riding his horse, wishing to be killed and conceiving the place of his death…..”
