7) “And you must not show any weakness nor feel any grief; and you will be

victorious if you are the (true) believers.” (3:139)

8) “……I (Allah) will surely induct horror into the hearts of the non-

believers….” (8:12) (see also 3:151)

9) “….If there are a hundred of you steadfast, you will overpower a

thousand of those who disbelieve….” (8:65)

Warning:

10) “ If you do not come out (for Jihad), He (Allah) will punish you with a severe punishment, and will replace you by others (who will conduct Jihad)…(And as far as the Holy Prophet is concerned), if you do not help him, (it does not matter, at all, because) Allah, of course, helped him (even at the crucial time) when the non-believers forced him out (of Mecca)…(In such a grave situation, the Holy Prophet was not, at all, scared) and he said to his Companion (Abu Bakr), when they were in the cave: ‘You have not to be grieved, as Allah is surely with us.’…And he (Allah) supported him with the forces (of Angels), whom you could not see…and it was the Word of Allah that was superior… (Therefore it is for your survival and dignity that when you are ordered, you must) march forward (no matter) whether you are lighter or heavier (young or old, ill equipped or heavily equipped), and conduct Jihad with your wealth and lives in the way of Allah….”* (9:39-41))

* [Note: In an Islamic Government, it is the Head of State only (and not any party leader), who declares Jihad.]

Warning:

11) “Say: ‘If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your

descendents, and the wealth that you have earned, as well as the

business about whose downfall you are worried, and the houses which

please you, are dearer to you than Allah & His Messenger and also

dearer than your fighting in the way of Allah (conducting Jihad), then

wait till Allah comes up with His commandment (to punish you)…”

(9:24)

B) The Holy Prophet said about Jihad:

1) “This religion (of Islam) will last for ever. A group of Muslims will fight

forever till the Day of judgement is established.”

(Muslaim - Mishkat: 3625)

2) "To participate in Jihad in the way of Allah and to believe in Allah are the

best deeds.” (Muslim - Mishkat: 3629)
