2:150 “ And from where ever you come out (for prayers), turn
your face towards Masjid Hara’m,* and where ever you are,
turn your face towards it (for prayers) so that no argument is
left with the people (i.e. the People of the Book) against you,
excepting those amongst them, who are unjust. Therefore, do
not be afraid of them, but fear Me (alone), so that I may
accomplish My Favor** on you, and so that you remain
(always) guided.” (* The underlined portion is the same as
in 2:149 above). [** See also 5:3)]
2:151 THE LAST PROPHET
& AND AL-QURAN:
(The Greatest Favor on Muslims)
2:151 “ (Just as We favored you in assigning you the New Qiblah,)
Likewise (to complete Our Favor), We sent amongst you a Messenger
(the Last) from you, reciting to you Our Verses, purifying you,
teaching you the Book (Al-Quran) and Wisdom (Sunnah)*
and teaching you all that which you did not know.”
[*Note: These are the same qualities of the Holy Prophet, about which Prophet Ibrahim prayed, while building Kaba. (See 2:129). (See also 3:164 and 62:2)]
[Note: We must be thankful to Almighty Allah on this occasion for sending His Last Prophet & the Last Book (Al-Quran) to us; and must celebrate it,
as stated by Al-Quran below:
“ O’ mankind! Indeed, there has come to you the Sermon (Al-Quran)
(revealed to the Last Prophet) from your Lord…So, you must celebrate
it…” (10:57,58)
We should, therefore remember Almighty Allah, and be grateful to him
on such a great Favor.]
