"That is why I have called you here, I wish for each of us to send a chosen warrior to investigate the Malro mountains, this time checking the place where the beast of the hundred year war was supposedly buried. I ask each of you for a warrior instead of sending my own knights because I know that you would not believe me even had they found something. A small party of four warriors should do, I don't sense this is going to be a dangerous endeavour so an entire army wouldn't be logical. If I'm correct, the burial ground will hold some clue as to how true my theory is. I believe in this with every fibre of my being, I can sense something is wrong with the world and I'm usually not wrong about such things. I beg of you all, please assist me in this."
Silence filled the room as each Lord and lady considered Falnor's proposal.
"I'm willing to do this only because I know you not to be a liar. If you say you believe this then I trust in your judgement Falnor," proclaimed Jade. The others followed slowly after proclaiming similar things.
By the next day the council had organized the small group of warriors. Two knights and two mages, a balanced team just to be safe. Together they headed for the Malro mountains far to the north seeking Falnor's "beast" or what remnants were left of it.
They had arrived two weeks later and what they found at the burial site was a giant hole in the ground. Either someone had dug the remains up or it had somehow jumped right out of the ground. The group didn't think that possible. They knew however that the monster had been buried after it had been cut into pieces. The only question was, did they bury the pieces together? If they didn't then how had the monster escaped? Either way someone had either dug it up or it was alive again and this had to be reported to the elders at once. If it was alive it meant it could not only regenerate itself but it could reattach any part of it's body! Countless thoughts passed thru the adventurers minds, every one of them worse then the next. They searched the entire mountain and it's known caves but came up with nothing else. They returned to the council in Elanoria and told them what had been found.
