Cryptozoologist

Offbeat L.Q. Cooper is obsessed with all animal life and its behavior, especially the cryptozoological discoveries that seem to land in the O.S.I.R.'s lap. Deliberate and succinct, Cooper obsesses about the world of nature around him and doesn't mind getting down and dirty in the middle of it.

Blais attended Carleton University, where he met Psi Factor host Dan Aykroyd when they both joined the campus drama society. They performed together in several amateur productions during the 1960s.

Peter Blais has had numerous roles in TV shows: Forever Knight, Beyond Reality, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, TekWar, The Ray Bradbury Theater. He has also acted in several children's programs, including Ewok Adventures, The Pied Piper and Back to the Beanstalk. His recent work includes the short film The Wager with Psi Factor colleague Barclay Hope, for which he won Best Actor honors at the 1998 Yorkton Film Festival. Blais' feature film work has included Guilty as Sin, Beautiful Dreamers. Theatre credits include Nothing Sacred, Escape From Happiness, Love and Anger and Glengarry Glen Ross.
