| A group of seven kids at summer camp are suddenly transported to another world filled with strange creatures called Digimon: Digital Monsters. They later find out that they are the legendary Digi-Destined, who are destined to save the Digiworld from the evil Digimon planning to take over. After several adventures and defeating Devimon and Etemon, the seven Digi-Destined discover from their friend, Gennai, that peace in the Digiworld will happen only when all eight Digi-Destined kids are together. The kids return to their world to find the eighth child (Kari) before the evil Digimon, Myotismon, finds her first. After defeating Myotismon, the eight Digi-Destined children and their Digimon return to the Digiworld to face the Dark Masters. The Digi-Destined have devices called digivices that allow their Digimon to digivolve, which is further enhanced by the power of their individual tags and crests. The digivices cannot be used by anyone other than the Digi-Destined. Together, the eight Digi-Destined children and their Digimon will save both the real world and the Digital World from evil! |

He doesn't like being ordered around, which explains why he and Tai don't get along. Matt wears the crest of Friendship. |
