Tears Of An Angel |
Sitting in the heavens, On a lonely little cloud, Sits the one who makes the rain, He was weeping, long and loud. |
Down on earth a storm it raged, Thunder crashed and rain it fell. The Angel wept for his lost love, Held captive by this earthly hell. |
He could only sit and watch, As the days on earth went by, Every time he saw his love, The rain fell from his eyes. |
The other Angels pitied him, And spoke to one who could, Reunite the two now parted, Renew this ones, lifeblood.. |
The Angel stood before the one, A smile upon his face, No second thought, he knew he was To leave this heavenly place. |
Down on Earth the Sun it shone, As along the beach the lady strolled, The Angel walked out of the waves, And took her hand, now his to hold. |
She smiled in recognition, Met her Angel once before, The time he came and saved her life, It was on this very shore. |
He came to her, in her hour of need, When she was desolate and alone, They fell in love in that short time, And since then, their love had grown. |
There love was something special, Blessed from up above, For eternity they'd be together, The Angel and his lady love.. |
