One Heart One Soul |
Out across the ocean, In a land so far away, Lived a sad and lonely Prince, Who looked for love each day. |
His Princess would be special, Beautiful and kind, He'd searched so long to find her, And was sure, one day, he'd find. |
The one to share his kingdom, Rule it by his side, And share his heart and all his love, From his love, she could not hide. |
One day whilst out walking, He came upon a girl, With hair and eyes as dark as night, Her glance made his heart whirl. |
He stood and stared in wonder, At the one before his eyes, His heart beat wildly in his chest, It came as such a surprise. |
His Princess stood before him, And looked at him and smiled, The air around him vanished, He felt giddy, like a child. |
His throat was dry, his lips were parched, All words to speak were gone, And so he merely took her hand, He knew, she was the one. |
A blush of pink rose on her cheeks, As he raised her hand to kiss. For all her life she'd dreamed of him, And a moment such as this. |
As he held her hand on to his heart, She felt it beat with loves sweet song. And he saw the tear fall from her eye, He knew he'd not been wrong. |
Refound his voice, and whispered words, That captured the lady's heart, "Come be my Princess, rule with me, Let us never be apart." |
Deep dark orbs gazed lovingly, Into the Princes eyes, "I knew you'd come, one day my love, This comes as no surprise." |
"I've loved you all my life it seems, Even though we hadn't met. Perhaps we've been in love before, From a life beyond, we can't forget." |
The Prince, he held his lady, Tight within his arms, And vowed always to love her, And protect her from all harm. |
They walked into the distance, And faded out of sight. Their love still shines so brightly, From the Castle in the night. |
This light outshines the moon and stars, By day outshines the sun. No other light shines brighter than, Two hearts and souls as one..
