My Sleeping Angel |
I look upon my angel sleeping, Looks so peaceful lying there, His eyes move quickly, he is dreaming, So I watch and gently stroke his hair. |
I see him smile within that dreamland, Hear his whispered breath, a sigh, A tender kiss, my lips they linger, A loving tear falls from my eye. |
My heart beats slowly to his rhythm, I love him more than words can say. In these quiet precious moments, I hold him as I drift away. |
Before I enter my own dreamland, I whisper softly in the night, I love you darling, more than ever, I close my eyes, turn out the light. |
